As member of the IVSZ (ICT Association of Hungary) Data Center Working Group, our company has also participated in the completion of the data center industry's concept collection.
"The data center services represent and form an independent, well-separable scope of activity within the ICT sector. The significance of the segment is growing continuously, thanks partly to the tendency of using mobile devices for reaching the different information sources, so the data centers become the base of storing the information/data. The revenue of the companies providing data center services in Hungary reaches the amount of 10-12 billion HUF/year." (IVSZ Communiqué)
The Data Center Working Group of the IVSZ was established in 2010, comprising the representatives of companies to have as profile the data center/server room building, providing the data center infrastructure, as well as different collocation and hosting services.
There are about 20 companies participating in the activity of the Working Group, among them our company, the Persecutor Security Ltd., too. The first common activity was the formation of the industrial concept collection. A thesaurus of those concepts which are used very often, but rather frequently in an unambiguous way by all involved parties, a document which was created in accordance with the internationally accepted and used terminology and standards.
